Installation & verification
A helical pile does not rely on a shallow pad of disturbed soil. Its steel helices rotate into the ground until the system reaches the planned bearing layer and installation resistance. The shaft then transfers the structure’s loads through weaker surface material into stable soil.
Depth is not identical on every project. Soil conditions, structural loads, pile size, helix configuration, and measured torque determine the final installation. Brackets, caps, or concrete connections complete the load path between the pile and the supported structure.
